Privacy policy
This site is run by the ATLAS project to gauge interest in ATLAS, a product in development. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your email address and the date and time you agreed to receive updates.
- Answers you choose to give: intended use, preferred product format, price range, whether you'd join an interview or prototype test, and any note you write.
- How you arrived: campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters), the referring website's domain, and which page version you saw.
- Anonymous page statistics (page views and button clicks), counted by this site itself. No cookies are used. To count unique visitors, the server combines your IP address and browser type with a random value that is replaced every day and deleted within two days, and stores only the resulting code — your IP address is never stored, and you can't be recognised from one day to the next. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted.
We don't ask for your name, phone number or address, and we don't take payments.
How we use it
To send ATLAS development updates and availability news, to invite you to interviews or testing if you said yes, and to understand which uses, formats and price points people care about. Research answers are analysed in aggregate.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing. This site loads nothing from third parties — no external analytics, ad trackers, fonts or embeds. Your information is stored in a database on our web host (Hostinger), which processes it only to run this site. If we later use an email service to send updates, we'll name it here before it receives any addresses.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or the project ends. After you unsubscribe we keep a record of the opt-out so we don't email you again; you can ask us to delete everything instead.
Your choices
Unsubscribe any time with the link in any email or on the unsubscribe page. To see, correct or delete your data, email hello@atlas.example.com.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell subscribers.
